HomeBeerHamilton’s Party Oatmeal Stout Alexander Hamilton's brother, William, was driving cattle from Chicago to Green Bay along what is now Green Bay Road when he stopped in the town of New Dublin. On the way home and flush with cash, he stopped back – and threw a party for the whole town, treating them all to lots of beer. After brief consideration, and a little recovery, the town took a vote – and renamed itself to "Hamilton" in his honor. STYLE: Oatmeal Stout ABV: 4.6%IBU: 25A black ale with a distinguishing aroma of espresso and dark chocolate, our Oatmeal Stout is a dark beer that isn't overly filling or bitter. Rich in stout flavor and aroma at first, this beer finishes clean and slightly sweet making it a fine choice for any occasion.
